Round 2 Results - Loudenvielle, France

Well well well, that was a pretty epic round of racing!

The track was super dry and loose and it took no prisoners, with some of the big names suffering!

More importantly - on our overall league table, we have a NEW LEADER! Team STOKED SENDERS RACING by @cube46 jumped into top spot with 295 points this round thanks to some great pics, including Benoit Coulanges, Max Alran and Eliana Hulsebosch.

RACE RECAP

The racing at Loudenvielle was fast, loose and chaotic with riders trying their hardest to tame the dusty track at ridiculous speeds.

Vali did it again in the women’s elite category with her second win in a row, followed by Gracey Hemstreet and Lisa Baumann in 2nd and 3rd. In the elite men’s, Luca Shaw has finally got a World Cup win! He was followed by Benoit Coulanges and Jordan Williams.

It's worth noting, Asa Vermette was 2 seconds up on his race run but wiped out and landed outside the race markers. Loic Bruni had a huge off in practice, injuring his wrist and fingers and counting himself out of racing - hopefully he'll be back soon! Many other riders had wipe-outs and near misses too. Jackson Goldstone was looking fast in qualifying but was disqualified after a hitting a jump and landing a few millimetres over the track boundaries.

We can't take our eyes off the racing - there's injuries to watch out for, new winners and podiums at each round and plenty more coming! Bring on Round 3: Leogang on June 13-14th!
