Round 3 - Results and Recap!

Leogang had some epic rainfall throughout practice and qualifying, causing extremely variable conditions for the riders - super slick off-camber sections, sticky peanut-butter mud and treacherous roots in the woods.

For the first time ever in downhill finals, the women’s elite category was the last to go out - amazing to see and I think everyone was in agreement this should happen more often. As expected, Vali dominated on home turf, winning by over 3 seconds. Marine Cabirou and Anna Newkirk came in after her with solid, fast runs.

In the men’s, Finn Iles took an early hotseat and he stayed there, showing that his Q2 time wasn't a fluke. Right behind him were Amaury Pierron and Henry Kieffer, both within 1 second of his time. Check out the highlights!

On the overall league table there were some epic high scorers this round - we saw some teams jumping up to 21 places in the rankings!

And for the third consecutive round, we have a NEW LEADER! Welcome to the top spot, Team Wilburfied, who netted 660 points and jumped up 9 places into 1st. @Wilburfield gained 300 points alone from Marine Cabirou and Anna Newkirk - smart picks!

Honourable mentions have to go to teams Pinned Mustangs Racing and Clyderacing who got whopping scores of 685 and 680 points respectively.
