Round 4 Preview - Lenzerheide, Switzerland

Ready for more? Here's Round 4!

After we wrapped up Round 3 only last weekend, we're immediately heading over to Switzerland for Round 4 at Lenzerheide!
Pretty similar to Leogang, Lenzerheide brings a mix of bike-parky and techy-rooty sections that most riders on the circuit are familiar with as it's been on the World Cup series for over 10 years now. Unlike last weekend though, the weather forecast is looking dry and fine, so expect dust and wash-outs!
Find out more about the track here.

LIVE TIMING

We're pretty stoked with the live-timing page that we created last-minute for Leogang (check it out below, it's so pwetty!), so we'll be doing the same for Lenzerheide on the race page here. This will be live for practice, qualis and the finals.

WHO TO LOOK OUT FOR

It's fair to say Vali Höll is the outright favourite in the women's - she's dominating the category with 3 wins from 3, and just won Leogang by 3 seconds. Saying that.... she only finished 3rd last year, behind Tahnee Seagrave and Nina Hoffman... Other riders to watch: Marine Cabirou and Anna Newkirk are both on fire and Swiss local, Lisa Baumann, is on good form and will relish riding in front of home fans.

In the men's finals last year, Amaury Pierron won it, a mere 0.4 seconds faster than Henri Kieffer - and these two just finished 2nd and 3rd in Leogang. Finn Iles will be brimming with confidence after his win at Leogang. But wait, what's that? The winner of the Junior men's last year was only 0.008th of a second behind Amaury's time? What young speed-demon managed to claim that time? Well that would have been Mr Asa Vermette, who is now racing in the Elites. Surely if he can stay on his bike for this race, he'll be a firm favourite for a win (you heard it here first!).

INJURY NEWS

Loic Bruni and Jess Blewitt are both still out. Asa had a mega-high-speed crash last weekend but is looking fit to ride.
