Round 5 Results and Recap from La Thuile!

After an epic round of racing at La Thuile in Italy, there were some big points scored and we have a tie for top spot on the overall league table! 
Teams ClydeRacing and Meat Sweats are looking down on the rest of us with 2175 points each! Interestingly, they scored 405 and 410 points respectively in this round but only have two of the same riders (Asa and Amaury) on their teams.
Shout-out to The Loamy Falcons by @tajbrundell, who got the highest score of the round with 675 points and gained 17 places on the leaderboard!

RACE RECAP

This race was all about making it count where it mattered, with the winners gaining significant leads on certain sectors of a track that had a little bit of everything to challenge the riders.

After some poor recent results, Vali Höll showed why she’s no.1 and she had the perfect weekend, qualifying first and winning the finals with strong start and finishing sectors. Lisa Baumann was only 0.275 seconds behind her though, followed by Sacha Earnest in 3rd.

It’s been a long time since Jordan Williams won a World Cup race (1107 days to be exact!), beating Asa Vermette by almost one second, with 3rd place going to Jackson Goldstone, who looks like he’s slowly finding his form from last season.

We’re now past the halfway point in the season and no break in racing this time, as we head over to Pal Arinsal in Andorra this weekend!
